EMOTIONAL FREEDOM TECHNIQUE (EFT)

Where astonishing emotional relief leads to profound physical healings.

WHAT IS EFT?

EFT is a complementary therapy that has its origins in ancient Chinese medicine and incorporates aspects of many of the "talk therapies". It works on the body’s energy systems, and was developed by an American called Gary Craig following the discovery that imbalances in your energy systems can have profound effects on personal psychology.

WHERE CAN IT BE USED

EFT can be used to address emotional, physical or spiritual issues. The number of sessions required will depend on the complexity of the issue and it is important to bear in mind that while some problems, or parts of a problem, will clear straightaway there may be deeper aspects involved which will require time, patience and the expert skill of an experienced, creative practitioner to achieve a complete result. One of the great benefits of EFT is that complex work can take place either face to face or by phone.

EFT is also extremely effective in achieving Peak Performance and is a valuable tool for moving forward and getting the life you want and love. It can help you achieve abundance and overcome those blocks that may, until now, be standing in your way to reaching your full potential.

Applies to all issues, including….

Pain Relief
…Anger
…Addictions
…Weight Loss
…Anxiety
…Trauma
…Depression
…Fears & Phobias
…Allergies
…Respiratory Problems
…Blood Pressure
…Relationship Issues
…Women’s Issues
…Children’s Issues

…School, Sports and Sexual Performance Issues
…Serious Diseases (from migraines to cancer)

What makes EFT special

For those of you who have spent weeks, months, or even years trying various drugs, counselling and alternative therapies in a desperate search for relief from your emotional problems, EFT may come as something little short of a miracle.

* It often works where nothing else will.
* Usually gives rapid, long-lasting and gentle relief.
* Does not involve drugs or equipment.
* Can be easily learned by anyone and can be taught by telephone.
* Can be discreetly self-applied.
* Often also alleviates persistent physical problems.

How does EFT work?

Electrical messages are constantly sent through your body to keep it informed of what’s going on. Without this energy flow you would not be able to see, hear, taste, smell or touch. It has been proven that disruptions or blockages in these electrical pathways can cause limiting thoughts and emotions and lead to ill-health.

EFT uses gentle pressure on meridian points – the body’s electrical, or energy pathways – to change the way energy travels around the body.

By tapping on the meridian points, small shock waves are sent through the energy system which stimulates smooth flow and clears blockages.

In short, it works like acupuncture, but without the needles.

Will EFT work for me?

Where EFT is properly applied, over 90-95% of clients achieve either noticeable improvement or complete elimination of their problem.

Some people achieve relief within minutes – literally – of receiving EFT. Others may require a few sessions to really benefit. And more severe cases may take longer.

It is particularly effective for conditions such as anxiety and stress where clients are often unable to pinpoint the exact reason for their unease.

(However, in the case of serious psychological problems, EFT should not be seen as a substitute for qualified medical advice from your GP. You should always consult your GP or existing care provider prior to engaging in complementary therapies.)

Are there any limitations on what EFT can achieve?

Despite the amazing results achieved through EFT for a wide variety of psychological and physiological problems, EFT is a complementary therapy and should not be seen as a remedy or a substitute for medical treatment in the case of acute problems.

EFT cannot cure cancer or any chronic illness. However, it can reduce, or even eliminate, the stress and fears surrounding the illness.

Does it complement other therapies?

Because there are no drugs or invasive procedures involved in the application of EFT, it is perfectly safe to use it alongside other forms of medication and complementary therapies. However, EFT offers such quick and effective results that you may not feel the need to use additional therapies.

Isn't EFT just another fad?

It’s only natural to view innovations with scepticism, particularly those that relate to our health and which promise rapid results.

However, EFT is based on sound scientific principles and, whilst still in its relatively early days, has been found clinically effective in thousands of cases, particularly with trauma and post-traumatic stress.

What’s more, you don’t have to believe in the technique for it to work.

WHY SEE A PRACTITIONER

EFT is so simple to use that many people can apply it to themselves successfully. So who needs an EFT practitioner?

The "art of delivery" is what a trained practitioner is able to additionally provide to the simple sequense of tapping.

An EFT Practitioner facilitates your healing. Working together they help you when things aren’t working. They, like a good coach, will take you through issues that you can’t or don’t want to handle yourself. They use questions, rapport, humour, reframing, testing and many other skills to ensure that your healing journey is as safe, complete and tearless as possible.

REFLEXOLOGY

What is Reflexology and how can it help?

Reflexology deals with the principle that there are reflex areas in the feet, hands, and ears which correspond to all of the glands, organs and parts of the body. Stimulating these reflexes properly can help many health problems in a natural way, a type of preventative maintenance.

Reflexology is a serious advance in the health field and should not be confused with massage.

HOW OLD IS REFLEXOLOGY?

Reflexology has been practiced for over 4000 years, by Indian, Chinese and Egyptian cultures. Evidence for this is shown in a physician's tomb in Saqqara, Egypt.

It is believed that this form of healing spread from the east via the Roman Empire. In early 1900 Dr. Shelby Riley and Dr. William Fitzgerald developed "Zone Therapy", the application of pressure on certain points (reflexes) which would relieve pain in a corresponding area. Eunice Ingham, who worked closely with Dr. Riley, was fascinated by the concept of Zone Therapy and started developing her foot reflex theory in the early 1930's.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF REFLEXOLOGY?

· Reflexology relieves stress and tension.
· It improves nerve function and blood supply
· It strengthens the immune system and restores and maintains a healthy balance in mind and body.
· Reflexology can benefit people of all ages and, depending on the length of time a condition has been present, can improve or eliminate many ailments during a course of four to six treatments.

Research in the field of Reflexology
